About 500 more of Santiago del Teide participate in the " XXIV edition of the tour of the Third Age "organized by the City Council of the Historic Village of Santiago del Teide, through its Department of Social Services and will be held on Saturday 30 April.
The itinerary of this twenty-fourth edition consists of the following route: will depart at 08:00 am from each of the different stops in each village, there will come to the town of Fasnia where all adults can enjoy breakfast and share their early experiences. From here you will start to address the town of Candelaria, where in the renovated "Old Film Cultural Space" older folk group and part of your corporation will welcome our elders. Then we will visit the Potter Center "Casa de Las Miquel and give a tour of the old town. About 12:30 pm Mass will be celebrated in the Basilica of Our Lady of Candelaria with the traditional wreath.
The next step in the itinerary will take us to Icod de los Vinos which will host the traditional lunch of brotherhood and fellowship as well as traditional dance and party with our ancestors in which as always will be many surprises.
